Utilizing Bioinformatics and Genomics Tools in Seed Quality Control

To be at pace with the developments in biotechnology and the application of its tools in regulatory functions, the National Seed Quality Control Service of the Bureau of Plan Industry conducted a training for its technical staff in central and regional offices on the application of bioinformatics and genomics tools and techniques in varietal identification and purity testing. The training was held on June 22-27, 2014 at Hotel Rembrandt, Quezon City.
